February is Full of Change
This week, I was focused on how quickly time passes. Admittedly, I was reflecting on a project I had put on the shelf in early October, thinking I just needed a brief break, and this week, as we approach February, I realized a third of a year had passed without me realizing it.
Usually, at least for me, choosing to take a beat, disconnecting from the flow of everyday life, such that suddenly more time has moved forward than I intended, happens when it feels like too much is unfolding all at once. It feels like things are moving too fast, and either consciously or unconsciously, I attempt to slow them down.
I share this because the cosmos is shifting again, and collectively, we will all feel it; February is a month that initiates large changes. This actually has already begun: Neptune moved into Aries last Monday. January 26, a change that will redefine how we dream, how we act on those dreams, and how we take bold steps forward. The astrological weather in February is a harbinger of change.
The month kicks off in earnest with a Full Moon in Leo on February 1.
Leo, ruled by the Sun, is the sign of self-expression, creativity, and confidence. When the Full Moon lights up the sky this sign, it asks us to celebrate our individuality, step into our unique gifts, and share them boldly with the world.
Yes, I am using the word bold a lot. This is because of all of firey nature of both Aries and Leo. Fire moves forward courageously. This doesn’t mean we don’t feel some fear. Courage is the ability to move forward despite fear.
This is a culmination moment — a time to illuminate what you’ve been working on, and to take stock of how far you’ve come. Full Moons always bring clarity, and under Leo’s bright light, you may find yourself facing parts of yourself that are ready to be fully acknowledged.
For the past decade, Neptune has been moving through Pisces, dissolving boundaries, expanding our spiritual awareness, and inviting us to explore the depths of our dreams. But as it enters Aries, a fire sign known for courage, leadership, and action, things are about to shift.
When Neptune moves, certainty dissolves before clarity arrives. Old dreams, identities, and coping strategies soften at the edges. Things that used to motivate you may feel foggy now, and that can easily turn into self-doubt if you don’t know what you’re feeling.
This shift is the beginning of a process that we will be in both collectively and individually until 2039. We are just at the beginning.
At the same time, on February 13, Saturn is stepping into Aries — and Saturn doesn’t whisper, it commands. It asks:
What are you willing to commit to now?
What do you want to build that actually feels like you?
Saturn, the planet of structure and discipline, is calling for us to take responsibility for our future, but this time with a fiery urgency. Aries doesn’t hesitate. Aries moves forward, even when it’s unclear, even when it’s not perfect. It demands that we take the first step, just a small one, even if the full path isn’t visible yet.
This energy isn’t just personal. It’s a collective moment where we’re all being invited to recalibrate how we create and move forward.
This moment is asking us to reimagine what we’re willing to build and how we’re going to make it real.
Neptune in Aries will no longer allow us to sit back passively and dream of possibilities. Now, it’s about acting on those dreams, even if we don’t have the full picture yet. Aries doesn’t wait for all the answers — it takes the first step, even in the face of uncertainty. And this is exactly the energy we’re being asked to embrace.
If you’ve been holding on to big dreams, wondering if you’re ready or waiting for the “perfect” moment — this is your invitation to take action. It might not be a perfect plan, and it might not even be a clear path forward. But together, Saturn and Neptune in Aries teach us that the dream becomes real only when we move.
This combination can feel unsettling. One planet is washing away illusions, while the other is asking you to stand up and lead yourself forward. If you’re feeling tender, it’s no wonder.
This is not a time to wait for everything to be perfect. It’s a time to trust that the vision is unfolding and to meet it with the courage to start now — imperfectly, but with intent.
We’re all moving through this transition together. Whether you feel caught between the dream and the reality, know that this is a shared journey, one where each step you take matters.
But here’s the part I want you to hear:
You are not lost — you are between versions.
Neptune clears what no longer fits, even when you didn’t consciously choose to let it go. Saturn in Aries doesn’t demand perfection; it asks for courage in small, honest steps. You’re not meant to have the whole plan. You’re meant to practice trusting yourself again — slowly, in real time.
If you feel unsure right now, it doesn’t mean your intuition is gone.
If your confidence feels quieter, it doesn’t mean it won’t return.
And if you’re standing at the edge of something new, hesitating — that doesn’t mean you’re weak.
It means you’re right on time.
This is a threshold moment. The fog is lifting, even if you can’t see the shape of what’s next yet. What’s forming now will ask more of you — but it will also feel more honest, more alive, more yours.
You are seen in this in-between space. And there is hope here, even if it arrives gently.
Neptune and Saturn’s move into Aries is the universe giving you permission to turn your dreams into action, to take ownership of your vision, and to step into your power. It’s time to stop waiting for everything to align and start creating the life you’ve been imagining, one step at a time.
If you’ve been holding back or feeling uncertain, know this: the time is now. The energy to move forward with your dreams is here, and it’s calling you to step up, step out, and act.
Just take a small step forward, align yourself with others who can support you through the process. Who can support you in turning your ideals into reality?
And when you feel alone, remember we are all in this together.
